Kristine Hermosa Orille (born September 9, 1983 in Quezon City, Philippines) is a Filipina actress. She is a member of ABS-CBN's elite circle of homegrown talents known as Star Magic and is well known for her roles in hit soap operas on television.Hermosa is born to a Filipino father and a Spanish mestiza mother. She is the second of four children in the family.

On her grade school level, Hermosa went to Querino Elementary School and St.Anthony's School. When her family moved to Laguna, she then enrolled at Colegio de San Pedro, San Pedro, Laguna near Pacita Complex to continue her remaining grade school and first year in high school. She continued her studies at ABS-CBN Learning Center after they moved back to Manila.

Actress Kristine Hermosa is celebrating Christmas this year by her lonesome since her family is now in Canada. "No plans for Christmas. No big party. My family is not here, they are all in Canada. I might do house-hopping with friends," Hemosa said. In an interview, the actress said that it's her first time to spend Christmas without her family. "I'm sad but make it na lang happier," she added.

The actress said that though she really wanted to follow her family abroad she has no choice since she has to attend to her showbiz commitments. I can't, I have work here. Echo (Jericho Rosales) and I started na ‘yung pang-Christmas namin ‘yung MMK and next one I will do yung ‘Maruja’ and yung next ‘yung soap namin ni Echo," she said.

Bosco Wong and Kathy Chow Man Kei (Niki Chow’s sister) appeared as models at an catwalk show yesterday. It was their first time working together. Bosco states that Kathy complimented him for looking confident on the catwalk. But she doesn’t know how fit his body figure is because she didn’t catch him changing. She is very satisfied with Bosco’s performance. Bosco joked by saying he may have to change jobs and become a professional model.

Recently Bosco was busy filming “Burning Flame III”. He expressed that he had been staying up late every night due to watching the Euro Cup. But that is just for now. When he eventually films the scenes involving fire he will be focused as he doesn’t want any accidents to occur. He also states that he has a habit of only sleeping for 3 hours due to working. Kathy who was beside him teased him “Even if he cannot wake-up, there will always be someone to wake him up”. Bosco immediately says that his mother would be the one waking him up. But Kathy continued to tease him by saying “Isn’t it Miss Wu?”. Bosco pretends to have not heard the comment.

Kathy states that she had also been watching the Euro cup. She watched the match between France and Italy. (Asked whether she watched this particular match because her boyfriend is French?) She replies by saying that her boyfriend doesn’t like watching football. Bosco claims that the reason why females watch football is because they only want to watch handsome men. He smiles and says he will watch football because he wants to watch the ball.( Asked him what kind of ball?) “Football, please don’t think dirty”. (Does Myolie like watching Football?) “I don’t know”.

Beauty Michelle Reis

Reis was born in Macau which was then a Portuguese colony. Reis is of mixed ancestry as her father is Portuguese and her mother is Chinese. Michelle maintains, however, that she considers herself Chinese as that was the only culture and language she grew up familiar with. Reis attended Maryknoll Convent School, and matriculated from St. Paul's Secondary School.

Reis started modelling at the age of 14. She first came to fame when she won the 1988 Miss Hong Kong Pageant at the age 18. Reis was also the first Miss Chinese International in the same year. Following her Miss Chinese International crowning, she went on to participate in the Miss World 1988 pageant, where she promoted the image of Hong Kong. She almost made the top 10, almost making it by a fraction of a score. She was then suppose to compete in the Miss Universe 1989 pageant but withdrew due to health problems.

Reis started to build a career within the entertainment industry in the 1990s. She starred in commercials eventually leading to movies. She has also appeared in music videos and TVB television episodes.

Isabella Leong (pinyin: Liáng Luò Shĩ) is a Hong Kong-based singer, actress, and model of Portuguese and Chinese descent. She is considered a symbol of a new generation of actresses in Hong Kong's entertainment industry. She can speak Cantonese, Portuguese, Mandarin and English.

Isabella Leong was born on June 23, 1988. Her father died when Leong was six months old. Leong's family struggled, as her Portuguese mother had to work hard to raise both her and her elder sister, but her father´s Chinese family always did what they could to support Isabella. They remained in Macau until Isabella was 15 years old.

To help her mother support the family, Leong joined the Emperor Entertainment Group at 12 years old and began to work as a teenage model. She later turned to singing and released her debut album, Isabella, at 16 years of age. Isabella did not achieve the success hoped for and Leong turned to acting instead. In 2004, Leong appeared as a guest star in the TV series Sunshine Heartbeat. In 2005, she made her film debut in The Eye 10 and also appeared in Bug Me Not, for which she was nominated as Best New Performer in the Hong Kong Film Awards.

In 2006 Leong won the leading role in the highly successful Isabella. The film allowed her to win a number of award nominations -- Best Actress at the Hong Kong Film Awards, the Fantasporto and the Hong Kong Film Awards, and an award at Golden Bauhinia Awards for Best New Performer. The film also won the Silver Berlin award at the Berlin Film Festival for Best Film Music. Best of all, the film led to an increased level of public recognition and admiration, especially from the China community.

Fiona Yuen (traditional simplified pinyin: Yuán Cǎiyún) was born in January 20, 1976 in Cologne, Germany. She went to Hong Kong and took part in the 1996 Miss Hong Kong Pageant, where she was second runner-up and won the Miss International Goodwill award. She can speak German, French, English and Cantonese fluently. She is currently under TVB, a local Hong Kong television station, as a regular actress and program presenter.

In reality, during the seven years that Fiona has been in the industry, she has kept a good girl image and even rumours have been a rarity. However, as an artiste, this can be an obstacle as you get less press coverage for a start, especially with the waves of newcomers every year, if she has little noise then it is easy for the audience to forget her. Has she ever thought about having a breakthrough? Fiona says: "Of course, but I just hope that this breakthrough is in my performance, by playing my characters well or letting people see my improvement in the documentary side."

When Fiona was asked whether it is better for girls to be able to cook, she laughs: "Knowing how to cook is an advantage, but the women of today are too clever and don't necessarily have to go into the kitchen. (What is your best dish?) Western food, but I really want to learn how to make Chinese food, because it incorporates steaming, frying, boiling, braising and there are a lot of skills that will also be very interesting to learn." Fiona usually loves to make soup, often making Wai Sai Gei Ji Lean Pork Soup and adding Northern Almonds, Honey Dates and Preserved Peel to give the soup a sweet, delicious flavour. She endorses it strongly: "This is an economical and hearty soup, give it a try!"

Selena Li took the 'Miss Photogenic' award for Miss Hong Kong 2003 and yesterday, reports broke that her father's company in Shatin and his three factories in China had closed, with 28 of Mr Li's creditors chasing him for debts amounting to nearly $10 million. With Mr Li nowhere to be seen, the creditors have reported the incident to Shatin Police Station. A police spokesperson indicated that the station had received one report, but the police have not yet made any charges. The case has been passed to the Sum Tin section CID to investigate. A notice was placed outside Mr Li's company yesterday indicating the name of the accountant and lawyers handing his bankrupcy.

Selena is currently in China filming for "The Herbalists Manual" and on the phone, she said: "I have found my father, but he just said one thing to me telling me not to worry about him. (Did you ask your father what has happened?) He has never spoken to me about his business and my father is divorced from my mother, so I do not see him very much." She continues: "My father says he will deal with his own affairs and there will not be a major problem. My father will not run away and he is probably seeking help from his accountant and lawyers. (There are suggestions that your father asked his staff to vote for you when you entered Miss Hong Kong.) The reports were exaggerated, it is only natural for my father to vote for me, but his votes don't count and it does not affect the result."

Parting Miss Hong Kong winners, Mandy Cho, Priscilla Chik, Selena Li and Carrie Lee took part in a promotion for TVB Pearl's broadcast of the Asia Cup Soccer Tournament and Mandy did play football as a child, but stopped when she grew older. She says that as a lot of football matches are aired at night, her sleep is more important to her so she does not watch much football, but she does like to watch footballers when she keeps her dad company, such as David Beckham and Portugal's Luis Figo. She will be supporting the Chinese team in the Asian competition.

Jessica Hsuan and Selena Li were filming in Central for "My Wife, Your Honour" wearing their power suits and Jessica says that she took part in a poster shoot encouraging people to register to vote, but she then did not send her form off in time and could not vote. "Now I am registered, so I will definitely vote next time." She adds that with the long hours worked by artistes, they lose touch with society, so she will start to try and watch out for news and current affairs to become a smarter voter!

Hailing from the same contest as Selena, Priscilla Chik says that she has asked about Selena and says: "I have called her and we chatted very happily. She is feeling okay."

Beauty Cecilia Cheung

Cecilia Cheung was born in Hong Kong and educated in Australia. She speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Her fresh young beauty was discovered after she appeared in a tv soft drink commercial. She was talent-spotted by Chu Wing Lung,who is now her manager. Initially, Cecil's family were reluctant to allow their daughter to enter the entertainment industry, but Chu promised her father that he would take care of Cecil, and ensure that she didn't go astray.

Cecilia made her first film debut in comedian Stephen Chow's 1999 Chinese New Year release King of Comedy. In the film she plays a night club hostess who experiences an unhappy love affair. Cecil herself has said that she is not satisfied with her performance in the film, and hopes that she can do a better job in her next role. She feels that the most memorable shot is one in which she had to cry. It was her most memorable shot because it was hard for her to gather up this kind of emotion. According to Cecil, she had no experience what so ever on which to base her character's attitudes towards men.

After her first movie, Cecil decides to launch her singing career. She releases her first cd called 'Any Weather' in July of 1999. This was the start of a success career as we can see now. Cheung has been linked to Hong Kong male singers such as Daniel Chan and Jordan Chan. She then dated Nicholas Tse in early 2002, but was then dumped by Tse late that year when Tse got back with his ex-girlfriend, singer Faye Wong. Later she was rumored to have dated a younger Lu Siyuan before the relationship ended in 2003. Cheung suffered serious depression and eating disorder after the break up.

Cheung and Tse were first reported to be "getting back together" in early 2006 and on July 31, 2006, Tse officially admitted dating Cheung in an interview with Commercial Radio Hong Kong 881/903.Her career began in 1998, when she was offered to appear in a TV commercial advertising lemon tea. She caught the attention of Stephen Chow after shooting the ad. Later, Cheung made her film debut as a young nightclub hostess in Stephen Chow's The King of Comedy (1999), followed soon after by Fly Me to Polaris (1999).

The latter role earned her the award for Best Newcomer at the Hong Kong Film Awards. In the same year, Cheung launched her singing career with her first Cantopop album Any Weather (1999). For Derek Yee's romantic drama Lost in Time (2003), Cheung won Best Actress at the Hong Kong Film Awards. She played a young woman who lost her fiancé to a traffic accident which left her as a grieving single mother struggling to make ends meet.

Gillian Chung (born January 21, 1981) is a Hong Kong-based actress and singer. She is best known as a member of the Cantopop girl group Twins, alongside Charlene Choi. In 2000, one of the model agencies that Chung worked for as part-time while in HK contacted Chung about a job opportunity offered by Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG). Chung accepted the offer in 2000 and became a contracted artist of EEG and started to undergo trainnings before debut. In 2001, the magagement company assigned her to form a singing duo, Twins, with Charlene Choi, whom she is not actually related, in 2001.

Chung made her film debut in U Man which was released in 2002 and has since proven her acting skills in a number of films like Beyond Our Ken which has earned her critical acclaim, being nominated as 'Best Actress' in the Gam Zhi Ging Awards. Outdoing herself in every martial arts sequence, Chung has established herself as the up and coming action star.

In the film Beyond Our Ken released in 2004, Chung played as Chan Wai Ching, a spurned girlfriend of the eponymous Ken. The film managed a box office taking of HK$3,886,355 and it has its World Premiere in Tokyo International Film Festival.In January 2006, the film 49 Days exceeded the HK$10 million mark, earning a spot in one of Hong Kong's best box office films for the year 2006[citation needed]. Chung is a graduate of the Kowloon True Light Middle School and attended RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. She did not finish her studies in RMIT.

The Hong Kong Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority received 2875 complaints regarding the revealing photos and the incident was referred to the Obscene Articles Tribunal for further action. On November 1, 2006, Easy Finder lost its appeal against an obscenity ruling on the published article and pictures. The appeal panel, consisting of one magistrate and four lay members, upheld the judgement, declaring the article "obscene", and saying it was a "calculated act of selling sexuality which is corrupting and revolting".Jimmy Lai, founder of Next Media (Easy Finder's publisher), interviewed on the television show Be My Guest, apologized to Gillian and offered to return all the negatives.

Liu Yi Fei was already modeling since 8 years old; her photos are still found on some streets in Wuhan where she spent her childhood. Yi Fei was said to be a very potential artist since she was a kid; she showed talents in singing, dancing and playing piano. After the divorce of her birth parents, Yi Fei left China to USA with her mother at age of 10. Yi Fei only came back to China in 2002, where she was accepted into the prestigious Beijing Film Academy at the tender age of 15.

Just shortly after Yi Fei got into Beijing Film Academy in 2002, she received chances to star in a TV drama, “Story of a Noble Family”. Liu Yi Fei then got her leading role as ‘Wang Yuyan’ in CCTV’s “Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils” a WuXia drama based on the legendary Jin Yong same titled novel.

Crsytal’s age was a concern for most people as they were worried if she could performed to the standard at the age of 15… but Yi Fei proved to everyone that her maturity is beyond her age and her performance at the series was up to the par. Liu Yi Fei starred in her first movie “Love of May” in 2003, followed by another movie “The Love Winner” in 2004.

Crystal Liu Yi Fei is not stunningly beautiful, but she’s definitely cute and has the like-ability factor. It is hard for anyone, any ages or gender to not like a girl like Yi Fei. Liu Yi Fei first caught my eyes in her role at the TV drama series Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, her acting was just ok, but after I discovered that Yi Fei was just 15 when making the scene, I changed my perception about her. She was definitely showing more potential than one could expected from her age.

After Zhang Ziyi making her fame in Hollywood, people always wonder who is the next from China to shine in the international stages, everyone is still waiting and Liu Yi Fei is a possible candidate to live up to international superstar status. yifei was born in Beijing but spent her childhood mostly in Wuhan. Her mother was a dancer and a stage performer, and her father was a university professor.

When yifei was only 7 years old, her parents divorced. After the divorce she lived with her mother and her name was changed to Liu Qian Mei Zi. She started out modeling when she was only 8 years old. During this time showed talents in singing, dancing and playing piano. In 1998 her and her mother moved to the US. During her four years there she gained an American citizenship.

In 2003 yifei starred in her first film, Love May. Soon after her popularity increased because her starring role in the Chinese Paladin which is was based on a RPG video game, in 2004. Then she returned to the big screen in the movie The Love Winner. In 2006, yifei gained international fame as Xiao Long Nu in CCTV’s television drama, Return of Condor Heroes, another WuXia novel adopted production.

In 2001, she graduated from Beijing film academy and is sometimes credited in her films as Eva Huang or Eva Wong. Huang is best known for her role as Fong, the lollipop girl in Kung Fu Hustle.

Huang Shengyi shot to fame after starring in the comedic martial arts film titled Kung Fu Hustle, directed by and also starring acclaimed Chinese film star Stephen Chow. Her role in the film was the character by the name of Fong, an ice-cream girl who was a humble, polite and most notably sweet girl who was mute, unable to speak. She plays the role of the romance in the movie of Chow's character Sing, the wanna-be gangster out on his luck.

A sequel is lined up to Kung Fu Hustle, but the role of the female co-star is uncertain. Huang Shengyi was slated for a return to the sequel after winning the hearts of many in the first installment, but after working outside of her contract with Stephen Chow's Star Overseas Company, including posing for FHM Magazine China, it is uncertain to whether or not she will return. She has since asked to be released from her contract, asking for it to be annulled.

Many in the public feel that she will be very hard to replace if it comes to it, but it is hoped that she will indeed return. She has since been actively working in between China and Taiwan production companies commonly leading strong female roles such as a beautiful martial artist or cop in TV and movies.

Eva Huang Shengyi dibesarkan di keluarga yang berpendidikan. Ayahnya seorang profesor di sebuah universitas dan ibunya adalah editor suratkabar. Orangtuanya sebenarnya tidak ingin Eva berkarir di dunia hiburan, tapi mereka mendukung sepenuhnya apa yang sudah menjadi pilihan anaknya tersebut.

Setelah lulus dari Beijing Film Academy tahun 2001, Eva mulai membintangi beberapa film drama televisi. Karir Eva mulai bersinar di tahun 2003 saat ia dipilih oleh Stephen Chow sebagai artis pendukung dalam film Kungfu Hustle, yang berhasil meraih box office di 2004. Dalam film itu Eva tidak terlalu banyak menunjukkan kemampuan aktingnya karena ia berperan sebagai gadis bisu dan muncul kurang lebih 10 menit sepanjang film.

Charlie Yeung Beauty

Charlie Yeung Choi-Nei is a Hong Kong actress/singer. She first got noticed after appearing in a jewelry commercial with Aaron Kwok. Since then she has participated in the MVs of artists such as Hacken Lee, Takeshi Kaneshiro and Jacky Cheung. In 1992, she was sign on to be a singer with EMI (Hong Kong).

After releasing a couple of albums with some success (she won the TVB Jade Solid Gold (1993)'s Gold Award of "The Best New Female Singer"), she made her movie debut in Wong Kar-Wai's arthouse martial arts movie Ashes of Time alongside superstars such as Leslie Cheung, Tony Leung Chiu Wai and Brigitte Lin.

In 1994, she made her first collaboration with director Tsui Hark on the movie The Lovers , a Chinese classical tale about the Butterfly Lovers. Charlie was cast as the female lead, Zhu Yintai opposite Nicky Wu's Liang Shanbo. She shot to fame and the movie remains as Charlie's most representative work to date.

Between 1994 to 1997, she was arguably the most popular artist in Hong Kong, with her charming face appearing everywhere from magazines and posters to advertisements and movies. At the height of her popularity in 1997, however, she decided to call it quits and retire from the industry to start an image consultant business with her Singaporean lawyer boyfriend in Malaysia.

In 2004, after a failed relationship (she broke up with her boyfriend) and business, she made her comeback as the lead actress in Jackie Chan's New Police Story. Following that, she collaborated once again with Tsui Hark on the martial arts movie Seven Swords and starred alongside Andy Lau in the love movie All about Love.

One of the more attractive and appealing actresses over the last few years is this former Miss Asia who radiates a sweet gentleness and the girl next door kind of beauty. She attended school in Toronto, Canada and had been accepted into a degree program by York University but opted after winning Miss Asia to instead go to Hong Kong and work for its ATV channel.

After appearing in over 10 different series at ATV, in 1996 she had her film debut in Comrades, Almost A Love Story (as Leon’s sweetheart back home in Mainland China – and received a HKFA Best Newcomer nomination for it). After a couple of so so films, she acted as Sandra Ng’s best friend in Portland Street Blues – and was just a knockout (as well as garnered a HKFA Best Supporting Actress nomination for that role). She is still appearing in TV as well – and had a large role in the hit TV series My Date with a Vampire II.

KRISTY migrasi ke Kanada setelah lebih 10 tahun hidup di Shanghai, Cina. Ibunya menginginkan, Kristy, satu-satunya puteri yang ia miliki itu, tumbuh sebagai perempuan mandiri. Tawaran demi tawaran main film mengalir ke bocah dengan senyum khas dikulum itu.

Badan 169 senti, berat 48 kilogram, bukanlah modal utama artis laris itu. Maka jangan harap mudah menemukan foto bla-bla-bla Kristy Yeung di internet sebagaimana bintang mandarin lain yang merasa tubuhnya ‘enak dilihat’. Dan meski pemujanya mungkin jutaan orang, Kristy tetap pemalu. Tetap introvert. Waktu luangnya diisi dengan membaca, mendengarkan musik dan...tidur.

“Hal yang paling saya benci adalah bangun terlalu pagi” kata penggemar warna putih dan jambon itu.Ia begitu hormat pada ibunya, sampai sekarang. Dan ia bersahabat dekat dengan neneknya. “Dalam keluarga saya hanya ada papa, mama, dan adik saya laki-laki” kata gadis kelahiran 7 Januari 1974 itu.

“Kami saling memiliki, sampai kapan pun”Kristy suka seafood. Doyan semangka. Gemar lagu-lagu Jacky Cheung dan Faye Wong. Menguasai bahasa Cina, Inggris, Kanton dan Shanghai. Kadang-kadang main bowling. Apa lagi? Nontonlah My Date with Vampire dan amatilah betapa cantiknya dia.
